We are a Christ-centered, multi-cultural church. As a community of faith we worship the Lord, serve one another and the community, evangelise to the lost, fellowship in Christ, Disciple and teach people as they grow in the Lord. We would love to worship together with you. When describing the family of God a wise person once said, "there are no such things as strangers, just friends we haven't met yet."

A Bit of Background
Word of Life Church was pioneered by Pastor Tavale & Pastor Alison Matai'a in 1996. After almost 20 years of gathering in school halls and commercial properties, we settled into our own building in West Auckland in 2014. After 21 years of ministry Senior Pastor Tavale retired and the baton was passed to Pastor Stephen Mataia.

Children a close to God's heart. We offer classes every Sunday during the school term for little ones (creche) right up to intermediate school age.
